There is no road map for the current situation we are in. A lot of time in life we learn from watching others or from our own past experiences, but this is not one of those times. While this is scary it can also be slightly freeing. There is a release of pressure and expectation on you to do the right thing because no one knows exactly what is right.
Because of this you get to simply do your best during this time no matter what that may look like. You also get to really take into account your own thoughts and feelings about a situation doing what is best for you and your family.
Activity to try!
For this activity you will need a sheet of paper and some markers. Then either draw or print out boxes for the next couple of days. This can be for the week, two weeks, even a month. For each day I want you to write down a decision or choice you made that day that went well and ended up being the right decision.
You can do more than one a day, as many as you like. They can be as simple as, “I decided to take a walk today and it really cheered me up”. Big or small write them down every day, and at the end of your time look back and see that for every decision that you thought might not have been a right one you have so many others that ended amazingly.
