Our New Team Member

Tommy Valentine

ESP is excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Tommy Valentine. Tommy was raised in Athens, Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Public Administration at the University of Georgia. When not at work, Tommy enjoys working on community advocacy work for his hometown, pursuing his Ph.D. at UGA, spending time with his wife Laura, and spoiling their two dogs, Lady and Louie.

ESP relies on a committed group of volunteers to make our after school, weekend, and summer programs possible. Tommy will be taking on the role of Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that they are engaged and fully supported all year. He’s excited to create opportunities to grow our volunteer program and improve each volunteer’s experience with ESP.

Tommy will also oversee our five new AmeriCorps members. Our AmeriCorps members have committed to a year of service with ESP, and Tommy is committed to guiding them through this year. He’ll ensure that they are provided with opportunities for growth and fulfillment through serving ESP’s mission.

As Volunteer & AmeriCorps Coordinator for ESP, Tommy will draw on over 15 years of management and youth development experience to oversee the cultivation, recruitment, engagement, and training of our support team.
