Carter Strickland

Carter Strickland is a Managing Partner at Turnaround Properties and the CEO of Winshire Green.Carter was a reporter for ESPN.com for 2 years after covering the University of Georgia for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the University of Oklahoma for The Oklahoman and Washington State University for The Spokesman-Review. Carter lives with his wife and family in Austin, Texas.

Delena Brockmann

Delena Brockmann has been working at Piedmont Athens Regional for over 10 years now. She started her first job with Athens Regional in 2004 as the Clinical Applications Assistant Director where she oversaw the project management of electronic medical record initiative. She spent a lot of her time shadowing everyone she could at the hospital so she could learn as much as possible. Now, Delena is the Executive Director of Piedmont Athens Regional’s Oconee Health Campus.

Ronald Copes

Ronald has over 10 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales, Telecommunications, Tech Support, and coaching/management. He currently works for Apple, Inc. Some of Ronald's other job experiences include root cause analysis, probing and deep diving for customer/business needs and information, log gathering and analysis, troubleshooting complex issues that often do not have known resolutions and creating resolutions that will be used organization wide.

Jon Williams

Jon Williams is the President of Williams & Associates in Athens. He has worked in the northeast Georgia area for almost twenty years on commercial, office, recreational, and residential projects. Jon has been a member of the Oconee County Economic Development Committee, the ASLA, and the Athens Area Home Builders Association. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Jon and his wife, Amy Stone, have four children.

Natasha Ganem

Dr. Ganem holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Emory University with a specialization in emotion management, workplace authority, and conflict. She started Lion Leadership in 2015 and currently serves as managing director and principal consultant. Natasha helps executives create strategy around managing and developing staff. Natasha teaches management and leadership seminars for Fortune 500 directors and executives at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and recently served 7 years as an award-winning faculty member at the University of Georgia. Dr. Ganem spent 6 years in the Department of Institutional Effectiveness at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Michael Ripps

Michael has over 25 years of experience as an operating and finance executive with private and public companies, both in the U.S. and internationally. He currently serves as President and Co-Owner of Jittery Joe’s Coffee based in Athens. He also serves as a Managing Director of Vu Partners, which helps Southeastern U.S. businesses and entrepreneurs develop growth strategies and eventual liquidity events. Prior to Jittery Joe’s, Michael was CEO of Lycos Asia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for High Road Craft Ice Cream, Athensmade, and Willson Center for Humanities and Arts. He resides in Athens with his wife Kim and three children.

Michael Raeber

As General Counsel at the University of Georgia, Mr. Raeber serves as chief legal counsel for the University and is a member of the University’s Cabinet. He serves as the office’s primary liaison with the Office of the President, with legal counsel for the Board of Regents, and with the Office of the Attorney General on litigation matters. Mr. Raeber also serves as General Counsel to the University of Georgia Athletic Association. In addition to these responsibilities, and the general supervision of the Office of Legal Affairs, Mr. Raeber provides guidance to the several units and colleges of the University.

Bryan Harris

Bryan joined Jackson Spalding in 2006 and has been a leader in the growth of our sports practice, which has included outreach for clients like the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, College Football Hall of Fame, ESPN/SEC Network, Chick-fil-A Bowl, Atlanta Sports Council, PrimeSport, Mizuno and theUniversity of Georgia. He has also helped manage media relations for marquee events like the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, 2018 MLS All Star Game, Super Bowl LIII and multiple PGA TOUR-sanctioned events.

Toby Smith

Toby Smith is an active shareholder of Trinity Accounting Group and serves as the firm's Director of Financial Reporting and Assurance Services. Toby received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia in 1998. Toby is an alumnus of L.E.A.D. Athens and Leadership Forsyth. He is a member of the Touchdown Club of Athens, and the UGA Alumni Association. Toby was an ESP Counselor from 1990-1995.

Jennifer Dollander

Jennifer Dollander owns Alumni Cookie Dough in Downtown Athens, She is a graduate of The University of Georgia and taught Regular and Special Education in Oconee and Clarke County Schools for 15 years.  She is passionate about entrepreneurship and sharing her experiences with others. She hosts a weekly Podcast, Empty Nester Entrepreneur, where she guides Empty Nesters on how to start a business after the kids have lest the nest. She is a mom of five wonderful children. Jennifer, and her husband Mike, live in Bishop with their family.

John McLean

John McLean is President of Allied Paving Contractors in Pendergrass, GA. Originally from Waycross, GA, John is a graduate of The University of Georgia and has been involved in the heavy civil and site construction industry in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia for over twenty years. John resides in Athens with his wife, Teresa, and their children Hanna, John Wolfe and Ian.

Philip Bernardi

Philip is the EVP & Chief Lending Officer for Oconee State Bank.

Andrew Costas

Andrew is Senior Director of Development at Landmark Properties managing the development of residential housing project across the US. Andrew is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and a graduate of The University of Georgia. He lives in Athens with his wife Theresa and their children Ford, Margaux, and Nell.
